Across the United Methodist connection many experience impatience, discouragement, weariness, and anxiety as we continue to grapple with the fallout from the 2019 Special Session of General Conference. A palpable feeling of looming, intense struggles over what to teach, how to teach, and what to do permeates our shared life.
In the midst of that uncertainty, we rejoice in the voices of siblings in our Central Conferences singing a new song of hope that offers a pathway for claiming our common mission and ministry. We welcome this wonderful gift with expectation and gratitude, especially in this season of waiting and watching for Jesus.
